COVID-19 Professional Resources from VNSNY
VNSNY has shared a website with clinical protocols it developed to guide VNSNY staff to safely and effectively care for COVID-19 positive patients. “We are making this information available to other home care agencies and our health care partners to support their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, and will update this page as new information becomes available.” The site includes links and training videos on PPE guidelines, protocols for seeing COVID-19 positive and COVID-19 negative patients, a PPE competency checklist, protocol for donning and doffing of PPE, and more.
Audacia Foundation Video
Audacia Foundation, one of the state’s Workforce Investment Organizations (WIO) and a partner of HCA Education and Research, has shared a training video on “Coronavirus COVID-19 Training for Home Health Aides.” It is available on YouTube here.
